# Use of undeclared type

If you are sure the type is declared correctly, check the following:
* Are the files part of the same target? If not, use `public`
* Is the type declared as part of an extension? If so use the full name. e.g. `Icecream.Flavour` rather than `Flavour`
* Have you cleaned? Clean clean clean before building
